There are abstractions and patterns rendered. We visited the Navajo reservation in Chinle, Arizona. There are colorful images of people as well as a psychedelic dimensions too. In viewing these images, I hope you feel like you are at the event. It encompasses the Holi Festival, street life throughout the country, traditional dance, and abstractions of places including the Taj Mahal and scenic visions of the Ganges on a boat while visiting Varanasi.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"\/two\/portfolio\/india-i\/\">India I<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/two\/portfolio\/india-ii\/\">India II<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/two\/portfolio\/india-iii\/\">India III<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/two_thirds_last]<\/p>\n<p>[one_third_first]<a href=\"\/two\/portfolio\/china-i\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/brettbagley.com\/two\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/049f-620x479.jpg\" alt=\"049f\" width=\"620\" height=\"479\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-930\" \/><\/a>[\/one_third_first][two_thirds_last]<strong class=\"artTitle\"><a href=\"\/two\/portfolio\/china-i\/\">China Travel 2009<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nTraveling with companion Juliana Ferris, this is a phenomenal journey through China that shows how much the country has changes in just a few decades. The people are very friendly. Included are images of traditional dance and their version of Opera. Many images have &#8220;Pop Art&#8221; characterizations with captions.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"\/two\/portfolio\/china-i\/\">China I<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/two\/portfolio\/china-ii\/\">China II<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/two\/portfolio\/china-iii\/\">China III<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/two\/portfolio\/china-iv\/\">China IV<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/two_thirds_last]<\/p>\n<p>[one_third_first]<a href=\"\/two\/portfolio\/mexico-i\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/brettbagley.com\/two\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/040g-620x479.jpg\" alt=\"040g\" width=\"620\" height=\"479\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-930\" \/><\/a>[\/one_third_first][two_thirds_last]<strong class=\"artTitle\"><a href=\"\/two\/portfolio\/mexico-i\/\">Mexico Travel 2010<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nI traveled to Mexico in 2010 with friend Mimi Tasevska on a photographic workshop that veteran photographer Harvey Stein directed. There is a contrast of urban and rural settings documented. I enjoyed a traditional native dance as well as a religious festival which is in virtue an authentic Christian expression of faith. I used traditional film, and the results were revealing. I hope to return again.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"\/two\/portfolio\/burma\/\">Burma<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/two_thirds_last]<\/p>\n<p>[one_third_first]<a href=\"\/two\/portfolio\/europe-i\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/brettbagley.com\/two\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/091h-620x479.jpg\" alt=\"091h\" width=\"620\" height=\"479\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-930\" \/><\/a>[\/one_third_first][two_thirds_last]<strong class=\"artTitle\"><a href=\"\/two\/portfolio\/europe-i\/\">Europe Travel 2010<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Including: France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Norway<\/strong><br \/>\nI lived for a month with my mother in a beautiful apartment in a prime location in Paris, accessible to traditional cafes and walking distance to the Louvre. Especially memorable is walking the streets of Paris and taking portraits of authentic Parisians.
